Weeekly's Jiyoon Announces Her Departure From The Team

On June 1, IST Entertainment announced that Weeekly member Jiyoon's formal departure from the team.

Jiyoon previously halted her activities temporarily in August of 2021 due to severe symptoms of anxiety disorder. After resuming promotions in December of 2021, Jiyoon once again took a hiatus in March of 2022, due to the return of her anxiety.

Now, approximately 3 months later, IST Entertainment has delivered news of Jiyoon's departure from Weeekly, therefore she can focus on her treatment and recovery. From now on, Weeekly will promote as 6-members with Soojin, Soeun, Monday, Jihan, Jaehee and Zoa.
