The "ROCKSTAR" music video by BLACKPINK LISA is a nominee for the 2024 UK Music Video Awards and the 2024 Philippine MYX Music Awards

LISA of BLACKPINK has garnered the attention of industry experts worldwide once more with her music video for "Rockstar," which, following its victory at this year's VMAs, has recently received additional and significant nominations at other award events.

The song is nominated for two major awards: the MYX Music Awards (one of the biggest in the Philippines) for "Global Video of the Year," and the UK Music Video Awards (UKMVA) 2024 (one of the biggest and most significant in the nation) for "Best Pop Video - International."

"ROCKSTAR," which was published under Sony Music in association with RCA Records and under Lisa's own company, LLOUD Co., displays her remarkable dancing and rapping abilities. Lisa solidified her status as a global pop sensation and a K-pop icon with this daring and ground-breaking song.

With 32.4 million views and 3.4 million likes during its release, Lisa's "Rockstar" became the biggest 24-hour debut for a K-pop soloist or any artist on YouTube in 2024. It also beat Eminem's "Houdini" for the biggest streaming week on YouTube's Global Top Songs Chart, and a month later it beat Ariana Grande's "We Can't Be Friends" for the title of Most-Viewed Video by a Female Solo Artist in 2024. All of these achievements were accomplished within a month of each other. As a result, it is a strong contender to win the nominations it has earned, which is well-deserved.

Congratulations to Lisa!
