As of December 5 KST, The Boyz and IST Entertainment have formally split up.
IST Entertainment made the announcement on this day through The Boyz's fan cafe,
"This is IST Entertainment. Hello.
We would want to thank all of the fans that love and support The Boyz.
We would like to make our formal announcement about the end of The Boyz's exclusive contract.
The exclusive contracts of The Boyz members Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Haknyeon, Sunwoo, and Eric will end on December 5 KST, by mutual consent, following a lengthy and serious deliberation between the two parties.
We would like to use this occasion to express our gratitude to The Boyz's members for their hard work in promoting the band since their 2017 debut. Despite the fact that our partnership with the members ends today, we will sincerely support the group's future endeavors.
As The Boyz embark on a new path, please show them your unwavering love and support.
