Seventeen's The8 will be absent from the group's "Be the Sun" world tour in Jakarta.
On December 27th, Pledis Entertainment, the label of Seventeen, stated: "It is hereby informed that Seventeen member The8 will not be able to participate in the 'Seventeen World Tour Concert [Be the Sun]-Jakarta" concert. He has flu symptoms, is being treated, and is currently recuperating as advised by medical staff. "
The label continued: "While the artist himself has expressed a strong desire to participate in the event, the advice of medical staff and the health of our artist is a top priority. It has been decided that he will not be participating in the concert in Jakarta on Wednesday 28 December ( Indonesia time)."
