
Ahead of the release of their second mini album, "poppop," which is scheduled for April 14th KST, NCT WISH has concluded a successful promotional trip to Shanghai, China.
For their first local press conference, the group traveled to Shanghai from March 29 to 30, and both the media and fans responded favorably, according to SM Entertainment. More than 60 prominent media outlets, including NetEase, Sina.com, Sohu.com, Tencent News, and others, showed a strong interest in the up-and-coming K-pop artist by attending the press event, which was hosted at the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai.
The members created a welcoming and cheerful ambiance by using Chinese to greet guests. The local press took notice as they answered questions, talked about their future plans, and unveiled their upcoming album. We're working hard to prepare performances that fans are looking forward to, and we can't wait to meet them," they said, expressing their excitement for the upcoming "NCT WISH ASIA TOUR LOG in MACAU," which will take place from April 4th to 6th.
NCT WISH engaged with fans through interactive fan meets and signing events in addition to media initiatives. Before going back to Korea, they also recorded interviews and other content for other platforms.
The upbeat title song of the same name is one of six tracks on the group's upcoming mini album poppop. With combined album sales close to 2 million since their February 2023 debut, NCT WISH has swiftly established themselves as K-pop's "refreshing icons." Wishful, their debut album in Japan, won them several rookie accolades and topped the Oricon Daily Album Chart for five days in a row.
