On October 13, it was announced that Lee Hyori would be hosting the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2021 MAMA). Previous hosts of the MAMA have included Song Joong Ki, Lee Seung Gi, Song Seung Heon, PSY, Lee Byung Hun, Park Bo Gum, and Jung Hae In. Lee Hyori will be the first female host of the Mnet Asian Music Awards!
2021 MAMA, which is usually hosted in different locations in Asia every year, will be held in Korea due to COVID-19. 2021 MAMA will be held on December 11 at CJ ENM’s Contents World in Paju City in Gyeonggi Province, like 2020 MAMA.
