K-netizens respond to newly released CCTV footage of BTS Suga's DUI incident

As part of the ongoing investigation into BTS member SUGA's DUI incident, new surveillance footage has surfaced.

In the past, when SUGA fell from an electric scooter in Seoul's Hannam-dong neighborhood, the police found him. His blood alcohol content, according to tests, was 0.227%, which is allegedly the highest ever found in a South Korean celebrity DUI case. SUGA is currently the subject of a criminal investigation as it is illegal in South Korea to operate an electric scooter while inebriated, and this is equivalent to driving a car while intoxicated.

On August 13, fresh security footage showed SUGA stopping abruptly and falling off the scooter.

Korean internet users congregated in an online group to discuss the CCTV footage after the most recent release.

They made a comment:

"Just say you dozed out."

"How can everything be a complete lie?"

"Lies are the most hated thing in our country. The fact that so many celebrities lied is the reason why they were unable to recover from a controversy. Why did they even bother to issue a phony apology, I wonder."

"Did he truly believe that if he lied, nothing would happen to the world? How foolish must you be to lead such a life?"

"They should rewrite their apologies. Is there nothing more that can be saved?
