On the morning of January 23 KST, Jooheon of MONSTA X announced his formal release from required military duty while standing in front of supporters with a forceful salute!
In July 2023, Jooheon entered on active service and was sent to the ROK Army's 15th infantry division in Hwacheon, Gangwon Province, where he served as an assistant instructor. After Shownu and Minhyuk, Jooheon is now the third member of MONSTA X to successfully finish his required tasks as of this morning. With Kihyun's discharge planned for February and Hyungwon's set for May, fellow members Kihyun and Hyungwon are still doing their obligations.
Notably, the film team of MONSTA X's continuing YouTube reality series, 'MON.MUK.GO,' abducted Jooheon as he greeted his supporters in front of the army base on this chilly morning, suggesting a prompt return to action.
