The new song "Mantra" by BLACKPINK's Jennie will be played on Mnet's "M Countdown."
Media reports state that Jennie will be featured on the October 17th episode of "M Countdown." She hasn't performed on the show in eight years, when she and her groupmates sang "Playing With Fire" in 2016. She will be on MBC's 'Show! Music Core' this weekend, and she already shot her performance last week.
Meanwhile, "Mantra" is Jennie's first single release following her split from YG Entertainment to launch her own label Odd Atelier. It features a strong, repeating beat and her attractive deep voice.
