Hoshi of Seventeen recently posted a picture of a PRADA billboard with Karina from Aespa on it on his Instagram account. He wrote, "Nice to see you here in New York, my dongsaeng (little sister)."
Korean internet users have taken issue with Hoshi's casual reference, accusing her of "name-dropping" a female idol, which they say might be detrimental to both artists.
Additionally, several internet users chastised Hoshi for using the word "my dongsaeng (little sister)," saying it was too familiar and that he was showing off his tight bond with Karina.
