On February 24, Pledis Entertainment announced a temporary hiatus for fromis_9 member Jiheon.
The label relayed in a statement on this day, "Jiheon visited the hospital after feeling unwell, and received word from her physicians that she was experiencing anxiety and that she should take a period of rest and recuperation."
Pledis Entertainment continued, "The artist herself is determined to continue with her activities; however, the company felt that it would be better for her to focus on recovering her health for the time being, as recommended by the medical staff. As such, we would like to inform you that Jiheon will not be able to participate in fromis_9’s activities for a while."
