Cube Entertainment made public an official statement on November 9th, 2023, outlining its financial results for the third quarter.
According to the report, the operational profit for the third quarter was 3 billion KRW, or roughly 2.3 million USD, while the sales income on a separate basis was 22 billion KRW, or roughly 16.8 million USD. With sales revenue up 90% and operating profit up over the prior year, both of these numbers show a favorable trajectory.
By the end of the third quarter, the total sales revenue on a separate basis had surpassed the yearly total sales revenue of the previous year in just nine months, coming in at 65 billion KRW (about 49.5 million USD). With a total operating profit of 10.1 billion KRW (about 7.7 million USD), the business achieved a first since its founding: exceeding the 10 billion KRW threshold.
Including subsidiary companies, the consolidated sales revenue for the third quarter was 39.1 billion KRW, or roughly 29.8 million USD, with an operating profit of 3.4 billion KRW, or roughly 2.6 million USD. With respect to the same period last year, these respective statistics show increases of 50% and 430%. In particular, the third quarter's total consolidated base selling revenue surpassed the 100 billion KRW mark with a whooping 105.8 billion KRW. Additionally, 9.98 billion KRW was the total cumulative consolidated operating profit for this quarter.
