BTS' RM says that he had no intention of offending any faith in the 'Bad faith' issue.

BTS member RM got into some hot water earlier this month after posting a Spotify stream of Frank Ocean's "Bad Religion" on his Instagram story.

Due to its contentious lyrics and apparent Islamophobia, this particular song has generated a lot of discussion.

Some claimed that RM was "Islamophobic" after posting the song on his social media accounts.

These online trolls raced to RM's Instagram account to make derogatory comments about his post and to continuously bash the idol for sharing the music.

On August 30, RM decided to address the matter by organizing a Weverse Live show since online resentment was growing. Guys, I know what you're talking about, and you keep accusing me of insulting a religion, RM stated. Not me. There was no desire or attempt to disparage any faith. I appreciate all religions and beliefs. I can only say that. Please refrain. I can see what's happening on my Instagram.

But I never, there was no such intention, he continued. I didn't have the slightest desire in my heart to disparage any faith. Guys. It's music. I'm not saying sorry. Just passing along. I'm 30 years old, and I have a soul of my own. I am able to say what I really think. Please remember that words are just that—words. Please take my remarks at face value. Not just speculating, acting, or presuming, okay?
