With their most recent milestone, BLACKPINK proved once more that they are a global phenomenon, owing to the solo performances of all of their members on Spotify.
On March 17, Rosé received accolades from online users via social media when her solo hit single "On The Ground" became her first to reach 400 million plays on Spotify.
Jisoo's song "Flower" achieved a significant milestone on Spotify the day following the celebration. It became the fastest song by a Korean female soloist to reach 400 million plays, making it not only her first song to do so but also a new benchmark.
Though numerous groups have had members debut as solo artists with their own Spotify profiles up to this point, none have come close to accomplishing what BLACKPINK has, as every member of the group has at least one song that has received over 400 million plays. Presently, BLACKPINK creates history as the "First K-pop group where all members have surpassed 400 Million streams on Spotify with at least one of their songs," and Lisa, Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé are the only female soloists to have crossed that threshold.
Driven by their devoted followers and the love of the public worldwide, Lisa, Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé have smashed numerous records together and individually.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK!! 🥳
