YG Entertainment's main YouTube channel had a surprise announcement delivered by Yang Hyun Suk on January 24.
The YG founder disclosed today that Ahyeon is rejoining BABYMONSTER following her medical recovery. According to him, BABYMONSTER will release "Stuck in the Middle," their forthcoming pre-debut single, on February 1 KST.
Hyun Suk explained that "Stuck in the Middle" and the group's last pre-debut single, "Batter Up," will be re-recorded to include all seven members, even if Ahyeon wasn't engaged in the song's development.
