In a report filed by Namyangju Police Station officials on April 12 KST, it is stated that singer Park Bo Ram (30) attended a private drinking event with two other acquaintances the evening before she passed away.
Park Bo Ram used the restroom at approximately 9:55 PM during the get-together, which was held at a friend's house. After a while, she did not come back, so one of the people there went to see how she was doing. She was unconscious, slouched over the sink. The buddies who were there tried to revive Park Bo Ram by calling 119 right away.
Emergency personnel quickly arrived at the location and took Park Bo Ram to the Hanyang University Guri Hospital. It was 11:17 PM when she was declared dead.
The National Forensic Service will do an autopsy upon request from the police in order to continue their investigation into the cause of death.
In the meantime, Park Bo Ram's management company, XANADU Entertainment, has released the following statement in response to the singer's death:
"Park Bo Ram unexpectedly departed from us on April 11 during the late evening. We are extremely saddened as we break this unexpected news to her followers. After discussing with the singer's family, a wake and funeral service will be arranged."
